Those wishing for a Re-Take of their child’s photographs candux by contacting Trudy ASAP; please return the original photographs for no charge if you’re having your child’s photo retaken. Those who missed the first Photo Day, this is the last chance for this year. Redux, or Do on Tuesday, tomorrow, Nov. 17.

Many thanks to those participating in what very well may become an annual event…customers were happy; artisans were happy; in fact, the only ‘disappointeds’ we could find were those not able to get to school to do their shopping. Next time, for sure!

New Yorker Update

“Finding Montessori” is the story SBMS HoS is working on, with the premise being that ‘Montessori’ is everywhere if you know what you’re looking for. This week’s New Yorker profiles a speech coach who has worked for decades with actors to help them better capture dialect and accents. There’s a quote from one of the actors that qualifies the essence of the process. See if you can find it, it’s a great description of ‘Montessori.’

Partnership. Partners in learning; that’s SBMS, for nearly forty years partnering with great families and wonderful children to create lasting impressions while developing a love of learning within a community of respect and success. That’s the basis for the partnership; for greatness.

The brochures are going to the printer, the Giving Campaign letters are being folded, the return envelopes are ready, the ‘mailing’ party will be busy on Tuesday, and you can ‘partner up’ as early as next week.

All of the pieces have come together. The details of soil, and plants, and barrels are nearly complete. Installation is at hand. Appreciations abound.
